Design institutes rely on display, discussions and exhibition of student work in order to progress the ideas. A vertical display system to put up sheets has been a staple for creative institutions for about 2 centuries now. Even so, not a lot has changed in the way we put up our work, the current system works for most part but it hasn't aged very well. In our transitional time where we are connected with digital as well as printed media, the current tackboard design just limits our options. 
Mayboard offers a solution for the 3 fundamental ways we can share and collaborate ideas. The smooth white surface is dry erase compatible, allowing for quick sketches and notes during discussions. This white surface can also be used as a surface for projection, sharing digital content in a classroom easily. And most importantly, this surface is pre coated galvanized steel sheet, that allows for magnetic tacks, an easy and safe way to put up printed sheets, models and artworks without damaging the paper. Mayboard also offers a fold put table that can be used to display physical models. And Mayboard does all that on both sides individually while still being  thin at 30mm. The custom base design allows for multiple configurations for classroom and exhibitions.
