 Today the number of people living in small dwellings is increasing due to limited housing capacity in urban spaces. These small dwellings generate a need for furniture with attributes that adapt to limited space and fulfill the user requirement. Considering the above mentioned scenario, designing a rocking chair for the Indian household context and trying to make a considerable impact on the life style of the users by adding a safe activity, who might live an otherwise sedentary lifestyle.
