City Sanitation Plan | Provision of Community Toilets

UDAIPUR : TARGET TO INTEGRATE CENTRALIZED AND DECENTRALIZED NETWORK
 Infrastructure is the package of fundamental facilities and systems serving a country, city and area including the services and facilities necessary to its economy to function. This City Infrastructure Plan specifically looks into land-use infrastructure integration and understanding the city context of Udaipur. The study aims to the provision of the self-sustaining project which helps to solve the basic infrastructure facilities, problems of the city and providing needs of toilets for tourists, slum poor people to reduce the health diseases and improving behaviour change of people. It also helps to improve the ULB’s revenue-generating capacity. The pilot project looks into identifying the thrust areas for the need of community toilets in slums, where IHHL toilets are not possible. Their area has the provision of community toilets based on total slum households and population. On the basis of the toilet module and financial operating plan is also prepared.
