Citywide infrastructure planning for Udaipur 2035, involves various sectors and institutions engaged in planning, designing, delivery, and management of infrastructure services through assessment of demand and supply side issues, gap analysis, institutional arrangements including norms and regulations, identification and prioritization of projects and detailed cost estimates. This portfolio outlines local economic infrastructure as a way to strengthen economic resilience by job creation and poverty alleviation to improve the quality of life of local residents. Based on conceptual understanding of the city’s development needs and prioritization of area, forecasting of city infrastructure needs was assessed and proposals were identified followed by sub-sector for pilot project demonstration.
