Through this studio we aim to understand the housing scenario in terms of demand , need , shortage, future projections and dependency on housing of people and trying to create housing as a habitat in Vadodara city till time to date. To have an understanding to consider housing as an asset or a liability as per my personal understanding. Our overall aim was to develop a housing strategy for Vadodara city to bridge the gap in affordability line and making housing affordable for all income group and to provide enabling and provisioner 19 individual sub strategies. The objective of the studio was to understand Vadodara ‘s existing and past trends of housing scenario in terms of spatial, demographic economic growth and study all the factors which are involved or related to housing and then a extensive field survey to understand the ground reality and the future projection how the city will grow and look considering horizon year 2031 in terms of housing. Hence creating a huge data sets of housing of Vadodara city.
