The studio was conducted in three phases. The initial phase was a continuation of the Foundation studio with the aim to understand and give short term proposals aswel as long term proposals. Following an in depth study and comparison of Development plans of an Indian city and an International city. The next was a detailed study of Surat city with the aim to prepare a development plan of Surat. A liberal approach was introduced for us to explore and think beyond the conventional planning approach.
