Descriptive Essays

Setting the beginning of essay writing, the exercise develops research skills, focusing on identifying relevant sources and bringing the information collected together meaningfully, around a particular theme. Connected to a previous exercise which required the students to describe objects they have access to, this exercise makes use of their ability to imagine and visualize, and requires them to engage in similar description.
