Imaginative Drawing

R4

Starting from short prompts intended to function as triggers for the writing process, the students come up with narratives which would allow for worlds to exist, functioning according to principles different from the one we live in. These can be related to material, colour, perception, etc, but need to be anchored in a clear sense of a space, irrespective of scale. Through the process, free reign is given to the imagination, to visualize in the abstract, and then to work in studio to represent visually the description previously written down.
