A Pavilion by the River

The Pavilion is located at the river edge of Kamatibaug, Vadodara. The design of the pavilion is inspired by one of the space making model of the previous exercise which has been very well linked with context and program at the site. Display Gallery is the place to display paintings, photographs, sculptures. The form of the pavilion is the intersections of cuboids into the wall. Cuboids are placed and rotated in a different direction to experience the context within the movement in the display gallery. The experience of walking into cantilever volumes make the journey interesting. Spaces are placed in a way so that the movement becomes axial-non axial. The decreasing levels of spaces take the person close to the water body and connect to nature which shows the hierarchy in height.
