Symbiosis Through Architecture

The urban cities and neighborhoods are human-centric in their design approach, which leads to ignorance towards many other living organisms in this ecosystem. However, these animals have adapted to survive in this human habitat, but the degree to which this human habitat supports them is questionable. Thus this project aims to provide a refuge for the animals of the neighborhood and the animal lovers. This architectural intervention illustrated through a School and an animal shelter focuses on creating habitat by including a smooth transition between human and animal-centric design using a school and an animal shelter. Thus, challenging the conventional human-centric approach to a design problem.
