UPHAAR | MAKING LIVING PLACES

The discovery of certain pre-existing patterns in nature that define the correspondence and sympathy between things that hold together. The emergence of these patterns in numerous life forms and life processes as understood through the processes of bowl making and the study of things v.s 'thinging'. The application of these patterns in the form of interventions for a site with a lesser degree of life. Here, the interventions arrived at were the culmination of the patterns derived from the earlier processes. In this case, interventions were arrived at through the felt aspects of pre-existing site conditions, including natural formations.
