The pavilion at Sarkhej Roza aims to create a weather-protected, semi-open  gathering space which also serves as a performance space on occasions for the netizens as well as tourists. The kinetic element in the space facilitates a dialogue between the sky, water and light. play of light and shadow creates a serene, soothing sensation. Paying heed to the language of this heritage site, the building and kinetic element is not only oriented towards beautification, but also re-looks at the idea of including the community and their social needs in today's context.
