Sine-Stability

The studio looks at three materials and helps to explore their potential in developing versatile systems. A system has been developed following keen observation of the case studies. It explores the concept of bending activated tensegrity where the structure is said to be activated on employing the tension cables. The behavior shows resemblance to that of a bow and arrow where the string of the bow is pulled back to achieve maximum tension. The structure is locked at this threshold, attaining stability. It integrates a reciprocal frame, forming a weave pattern and is light in nature.
