The site is in Gajaldoba, Darjeeling and it is designed with the concept to maximize connection with nature and an approach towards biophilic design which is been derived from the context itself. The river and forest are located around the site but the river is not really visible from site so the concept is to get the memory of that. The exterior shell is influenced from colonial architecture while the interior furniture is contrast to that with some modern touch with colonial furnishing and visual connection with nature. The overall spaces are adaptive and dynamic with free (open) spatial planning.
