This bar stool is designed for M.A.D. Tomato's restaurant where M.A.D. stands for Modern American Design. The inspiration was taken from the work of Raymond Loewy. Raymond Loewy's ideologies and principles of design was very 'streamlined'. The idea was to design a product which is inspired from retro american designs; simple, humble and classic; which goes perfectly with the chosen context. Since, the restaurant asks for a touch of modern design, the concept was further developed keeping in mind the same as well as the MAYA Principle for the users to relate and connect with the design.
