Indian Design Museum

India is an amalgamation of different cultures, religions, languages, art, and architecture. It respects contrast, and has transformed from the past to the present moving into the future, while always bringing something new. Even in Indian architecture, buildings transform from the past to the present, not forgetting history while keeping updated with the present. This project brings adaptive reuse to the city, where the site is located at the edge of the airport runway, and many housing and industrial buildings. It has been left derelict since over 30 years. To renew life to it, this project brings in a Design Museum reflecting the “Indian Design Journey”.
