• This studio focuses on bringing usable public art to sites across Ahmedabad, in the form of furniture, which will be sponsored by corporates for visibility and good-will • This furniture will centre on sustainability considerations, including ecological, social, cultural and economic issues. It will look at these considerations across the production to consumption system • The furniture will be mindful of mainstream outdoor furniture concerns, including 1)durability, 2)cost, 3)function, 4)sitting and layout, 5)aesthetics and design language, and will additionally look at addressing and resolving ideas and issues around 6)vandalism, 7) place-making, 8) safe interaction, 9)potential use by the homeless and 10)inclusivity
