The pols of Ahmedabad host various families of diverse characteristics. The individuality of each of these families is unified to form a community whose members mingle with each other like they are a part of a single family. One such pol is Shamalji Thavar Ni Pol, where our site lies in a dilapidated condition. Here, a residence is to be constructed for a family of five, having their unique lifestyle and needs as individuals and also for the family as a whole . The elements salvaged from the older house must be utilised.
