A house designed for a family of five in the old city of Ahmedabad using salvaged elements from an old house. The house consists of various semi open seating spaces, biophilic bathrooms, green spaces and several light and ventilation sources such that the house becomes an 'oasis' in the desert for the family members. It serves as a 'retreat' in the middle of a busy street life. A strong connection with the street has been established to ensure a healthy community life which is a highlighting feature of people's lifestyle living in a Pol.
