A Labyrinth- Destined to pause

Labyrinth is mainly intended for family oriented visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of Goa. In Goa, the verandah in the front of the house is a humble way of welcoming someone into one's house. The verandah opens ups the house to the surrounding and also invites interaction among people neighborhood. Labyrinth, a traveler's home is a maze which invites people get into itself, take a pause when it opens up tp the sea. The two dominating walls open up the sea in a subtle transition. There are spill out spaces formed by the inward walls which not only build connection to the beautiful surrounding on Vagator beach but also encourages one to move out of their private zone and spend time with their mates. The walls guide you through the spaces, to the sea, disconnect one from the private spaces and generate a guided movement. The walls, columns, railings guides a linear branched movement in a verandah, similarly the two walls guides one into the space and open up to the sea. The feeling created when one moves through the stairs formed centrally in the whole space by the walls, is guided by the bamboo roof between the walls. They have been angled in such way that as one goes down the stairs, there is a subtle visibility of sea which then opens up into a semi open space giving a panoramic view of the ocean.Work for the semester:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ymMMV7U-8-kup3DYoUmOwOUH2SiRQzxe/view?usp=sharing
