In-Situ Redevelopment of JJ Clusters | Delhi

For the “Housing Project Studio, 2020” the city to be studied was Delhi. The studio revolved around getting knowledge of the Real Estate markets of Delhi, its housing trends, and the analysis done by the macro-market and micro-market studies. This analysis gave in in-depth knowledge of the city’s demand and supply work for the housing units. A detailed land potential analysis was done to select the site which had the maximum potential and opportunity to learn. The selected site was a slum redevelopment site, which is a live project in Delhi. This project helped in giving insights into the process involved in the slum redevelopment project and its effects on the site and the surroundings. The project hence studied was to develop a financially feasible project by utilizing the maximum potential of the land by studying the cash flow analysis. Since the project is a live project and still at the preliminary stage of development the public authority involved in this project has revised the FSI and thus the studio project focused on the project till that stage.
