The portfolio summarises the key findings of the precinct located in Annanagar East, Chennai through a rigorous analysis of elements of an urban setting. The neighborhood characteristics, history and evolution, street connectivity, infrastructure, land use, and built form are analyzed and related to the intangible aspects like people’s choices and behavior. Chennai, Bengaluru, and Jaipur are Class I cities with a population of more than 50 lakhs. The precincts in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and Mansarovar, Rajasthan are compared with the precinct in Annanagar, Chennai to understand if they can adapt the 15-minute neighborhood model.
