Asilmetta is a diverse core of Visakhapatnam city in terms of public transportation centre, educational centre and one of the major commercial centres. The area is of high important in city’s context. Any major changes at the state and city level directly or indirectly had an impact on the area. Each of these centres also influenced the other two in terms of development, connectivity, street activities, informal sector of jobs and real estate prices. A detail analysis of these parameters through primary survey, secondary sources and various required data points are done to understand the city through the lens of the area.
