The influence of the market and the temple on the built form is explained through the characteristics of the structure type and its location.

A sample size of 38 household surveys within the city is taken to understand the reasons behind the choices of the residents.

Housing, job and transportation are the three main factors of livelihoods.

Urbanization around a temple narrates the urban transformation undertaken over the past two decades with the key determinants in the timeline that has caused the physical or social changes.

Primary interviews with the residents of the precinct along with government data and research journals unfold the physical changes observed in the aerial images.

The street network connecting the temple town is surveyed to understand the vehicular route characteristics and the path for pedestrian movement. The aerial images and primary field surveys are interpreted to understand the built structures and road networks.

The interactions of the users of the streets with the street is inspected to identify and understand the various street sections.

The influence of the market and the temple on the built form is explained through the characteristics of the structure type and where it is located within the study area.

The built environment and its relationship with the unbuilt spaces like the road network, agricultural plots and open spaces.

The urban density is measured and then factored to understand the various aspects included within the calculation.
