NMT Infrastructure plan has been made at the RMC level with the consideration of four major components and overlaid them into the final plan like green infrastructure, blue infrastructure in terms of voklas, public transportation, and Land-use mix. The final plan is concentrated in the center area as there is more land use mix. As the land use mix in the area affects the travel distances of the residents for the day to day activity. The institutional area also has the maximum demand of cycle track as well as pedestrian infrastructure. In order to support land-use mix, there is the need for adequate and efficient connectivity in the area. Connectivity also facilitates easier access to the area. So with the consideration of all this aspect into the plan, 80 km long stretch has been proposed for the NMT Infrastructure.
