Lighting and Integrated Design Lab

The portfolio showcases the work achieved in the IDL semester. The semester is divided into measurements & experimentation and simulation. The first half of the semester is dedicated to the introduction and lighting which comprises of daylight and electrical lighting, the second part of the semester covers the whole building design which is an integrated design approach done by incorporating the concepts learned in the first three semesters to optimize the energy usage of a hospital building. This is further backed by a cost analysis to ensure that the proposed building is a viable solution.
