Dissolving and Morphing

The Loving Community is a typical case of social stigma and preconceived notions resulting into discrimination and consequent isolation of individuals. The intent behind designing the library is to dissolve the imaginary boundaries between the community and its surrounding neighborhoods by engaging the users with the local people in a setting that facilitates paths to cross and creates opportunities for dialogue. Taking inspiration from our visualization of an ideal reading space, the library aims to morph into the setting and everyday lives of all stakeholders - in a hope that they embrace the building and each other.
