Quintessence of the nikol gaam

The composition allows to enter from wherever a person likes. A row of trees defines the boundary and separates the busy streets with the calm environment of the place. Thus, solitude. The pattern of the hall is carried out onto the courtyard with a rectangular block interlocking the site to the lake like a jigsaw puzzle. Under the dense canopy of Neem tree that sits next to the water-body lies the brick masonry laying a foundation for public seating that envelopes the tree enhancing the center. The merging of built forms takes place with the graduation of plinths, creating a hierarchy. The bunding wall has been copied into canteen allowing for people to sit along the wall. Evenings are filled with the chirping of birds. The whole place is taken away by the inconsistent conversations between the flying creatures. Flowers of champa, tabulia rosia and Argentina fall along the pathway inside the garden. Not separateness is embedded with the forms placed along one another. The rocky hard pathways along with the soft, spongy bushes and plantations give rise to juxtaposition.
