The project focuses on developing a narrative around the abandoned site, the Railway Salon Shed in Baroda. The abandoned site embedded in the urban fabric is studied in its current state and understood as that which is isolated, withdrawn and introverted from its context. This nature of the site is further reasoned to develop the architectural program  for the site, a meditation/ contemplation retreat. The project is from its inception to conception is seen through the lens of a 'Threshold'. A threshold, defined as an in -between transitional space between two realms, either real or abstract.
