Station of the illuminated pyramids

The station of the illuminated pyramids is a place where books, nature, transport and man come together. The aim of the project is to break the notion of public buildings being large robust structures and connect these spaces with nature to softened down its experience. It tends on creating an open public zone in the dense fabric of Shahpur. With the skylights and courtyards acting as light wells the building creates a well lit and ventilated space for students to study, people to read and for the book binders and printing people to expand their business and teach interested ones.
