For the final design problem, one had to design a pavilion in the building complex of a chosen case-study: Bharat Bhavan, come up with ones own brief and design a kinetic element in that pavilion. ‘Memorial Walk’ is the title of the pavilion designed for the Bhopal Gas Tragedy victims and its aftermath. The pavilion has been designed in three parts: Anamnesis, the Encounter and the Revival. It is an experiential pavilion, which makes the visitor feel the emotions that the people felt during the tragedy. Helplessness, confusion, claustrophobia and shock amongst others. The chain of events of the tragedy shall be displayed with certain information. Kinetic aspect has been utilized to create the unusual experiences.
