Herz jesu, designed by peter zumthor in Munich had to be re-imagined in Ahmadabad. Considering an old CNI Church in the same site, i imagined the old church to carry an immortal value and make it a memory. New church by zumthor would  be a way to remember what was here before and look forward into the path of making of a larger church to accommodate more people. Idea of heaven and divine light were the which were taken forward with the new church having connotations of the remains of the older one.
