The studio aims at understanding and exploring details and how the details put together make a structure. The studio started with analyzing the case studies from which one was taken forward. In this case, the Tollgate (bamboo case study) was taken forward, first starting with its joinery which was then explored in steel. With the steel joinery different systems were tried out from which bridge was then taken forward and detailed out. The intent was to design a simple tensegrity bridge using the learning and concepts of the three case study.
