Gaston Bachelard said "Our corner is our negation of the Universe.", which means that we tend to escape the universe in our personal space.Home is a personal corner where we feel the consciousness of being at peace. Daydreaming is a part of our life and we tend to carve up our dreams as we grow up.Everyone in this world is a different soul. We perceive same surroundings in a way that is contrasting to the person standing right next to us. My topography was frozen lands and my perception of it was not just snowflakes, frozen water and cool atmosphere but I was deeper into focusing on the touch or frost, the texture of ice caves, the smell of mist and the glow of aurora borealis. The essence of a personal shell in the Frozen land is how I imagined my space to be. A sense of ice crystals being suspended from surfaces has been created. Exploring and mixing different mediums played a major role in the process of achieving my personal polar frost. Elements within the shell are responsive towards the topography. Elements like swing, plasma ball, bed curtain and the cutlery give a sense of the frame as it responds to the frozen world through their physical properties such as color, form etc. The essence of shell in the Frozen land is dependent on the topography as the material used have limitations because of the climate.
