Redesigned structure is made up of steel box section used as a primary material. There are two steel box section placed at every 4 meters with a connecting plate which transfers more load by acting as on entity. For the roof trusses are designed and placed diagonally towards the column so that the space under the structure would not feel massive and creates the playful geometry. The structure also have four entry/exit for the bus and two main entry for the structure.

The primary material for designing a canteen structure is concrete. As concrete is good in compression and tension it allows larger span for constructing a structure. Concept for designing a structure is larger spanning and faceted roof. The structure of a roof is supported on 24 concrete columns supported by the beams. The behaviour of the form of a roof is in compression there for the column grid is designed on the edges of the roof to support the structure.
