Multipurpose Floor Chair

Spaces without furniture or without any physical entity are tended to be used for multiple functions, but have been improvised according to there uses. The Indian style of living has always been rooted to the floor where multiple functions happens, such as preparation of food, eating food, socialising, study etc. But due to the shift towards european style of living their has been dramatic shift of doing activities on a countertop within specified spaces. The intention is to design a chair which is rooted to the Indian culture and is compact, easily storable, lightweight and can be used for multiple functions. The design reflects the Indian ethos and values in its aesthetics.
