Weaving has multiple techniques from charpais and cots in front of local houses to tie and die production. Every aspect of Gujarat speaks a coloquial language of knots and ties, hence the concept of Layering arises. Layering as a concept expresses Transperancy, partial visibility and closure and distraction and geometrical perception which all come together express how weaving is significant in the life of a craftmen and how textiles are inculcated into this umberella of local shops forming into one single brand. It expresses a vernacular design concept which resembles a sweet box inserted into the midst of Manek chowk.
