Talai, a traveller's home in Jaisalmer

Talai, means an oasis in Marwari language. Just like an oasis provides respite in a desert, this home is designed for travellers who want to experience peace in the chaos of Jaisalmer. The home is ideal for people looking forward to spend time with themselves and nature. The home is like a shell with each interior space connected to some element of nature like sandstone, sky, water or greenery.
Also, the design strategy used to form spaces and guide the design is the experience of  subtraction. The spaces feel monolithic and scooped out.For other projects : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qOlM722SAXYerO789GbobdzxH33xB5Ay/view?usp=sharing
