The concept behind the home is derived from Chhatri. The lower level is based on heaviness, and rigidity from the base of the chhatri. The upper floor is inspired from the slender columns of the chhatri. This home would cater to a family of 3-4 person who would like peace and isolation amongst the chaotic background of the chowk. As Jaisalmer is a desert so water is of great importance there. Therefore the biggest feature of this house will be a water body.
