Parks & Gardens Management in Gandhinagar City

The parks in Gandhinagar are managed Gandhinagar Municpal Corporation, state level departments and are also contracted out to private entities for O&M. Citizens surveys, interviews were conducted to understand citizens expectations and problems faced by them in these parks. Based on these results a root cause analysis was performed to identify key issues and scope of improvements in the system. Proposals like complaint redressal system, improvised supervision system and citizen engagement through placemaking & placekeeping were proposed for the city parks.
