Public spaces had a huge impact on the lifestyle of people in the past. Historically, public spaces in cities were used as spaces to serve basic survival, communication and entertainment needs and to perform several political, religious, commercial, civic and social functions. Streets are critical public spaces where people used to socialize. But due to commercialization, the character of streets is lost over a period of time. This proposal is to redesign the existing streets in the ward as public spaces to regain its essence.
