The aim of the project is to attain environmental sustainibility within the developed neighbourhood while providing usable interaction spaces at various levels. The major acpects though which sustainibility is to be attained are promoting less use of non renewable energy sources and enabling and maximising use of renewable energy sources in passive and natural as well as technological ways. This, combined with various strategies to curb the overall carbon footprint will eventually lead to the developement of an Environmentally Sustainable Neighbourhood.
