The studio intends to develop a mobile urban device (a laari) in the context of the dense urban fabric of Ahmedabad. The laari caters primarily to the women and children of the settlement and aims at becoming an integral part of their daily lives. A prototype of the laari will then be tested in New Faislanagar, a make shift settlement near the dump yard. A post occupational study was to be conducted; due to the outbreak of pandemic, we prepared a construction manual instead so that anyone could build it and prepared an illustration as a part of systemic thinking.
