SAKHI SAHYOG

Ambli is an Urban village where people live together and celebrate every festival. In this studio, we tried to understand the village by back-and-forth perception mapping. In this process, while discussing with working women and housewives, we realize that the major concern they have is to manage time and utilizing their skills. This concern forms the aim of the project “Contribute to women’s identity by facilitating and promoting women’s work by providing a better working environment.” This vision helps approach the women and having a center where they can work together, which also leads to facilitate women’s sociability, enable women to earn and facilitate to learn and develop their skills. And also establishing shops and more centres in later phases where the centre will help women in gaining economic interdependency and individual identity and uplifts the economy of the village.
