Improving Accessibility at the Core

The inner core has an interesting mix of residential and commercial use making it high production and attraction zones. Having major transportation nodes like the bus terminals and the railway junction within the city core results in increasing vehicular movement. The city core is mostly connected by narrow roads and with the heavy vehicular flow, it becomes congested and also impossible for pedestrian movement. Improving the mobility at the city core is important to reduce the overall congestion of the city and will encourage Non Motorised Transport.
