The Studio aimed to provide a deep understanding of the Strategic Transport Plan for Urban Transport Systems following the aims and objectives provided by the National Urban Transport Policy. The objective of the studio is to develop a Strategic Transport Plan for study area focusing on to improve the accessibility of the people rather than moving vehicles and mobility and integration of various modes including public transport, pedestrians, cyclists and Inter-Mediate Public Transport (IPT), etc. in order to improve and achieve convenient and cost-effective access to places of work and education along with optimum utilization of funds and human resources.
