With rapid urbanization happening in all the cities villages surrounding them have been engulfed by the development.  In most cases, the villages are left behind for development even being an integral part. One such case is being demonstrated with MAKARBA village in Ahmedabad. The major question was how can the villages be connected with the city and one possibility of commercial development has been explored and demonstrated where how the village can transform into different commercial activities by connecting with the city through different activities.
