This portfolio is a compilation of the work done throughout the semester of Elements of Urban Design Studio. It commences with the understanding and representing the elements like Building types, Streets, Open spaces, and urban blocks. Various parameters were delayered in each element understanding the overall character of the place.
The studio was concluded with the design of a public place around Vastrapur lake. Different issues were identified and design strategies were proposed on the basis of site conditions. This module helped us in integrating all the previous exercise skill sets and understanding of each element.
