Road network, built structure and infrastructure systems come together to form a city’s structure. Amalgamating the ideas of an industrially progressive city and a socially integrated city, aptly reiterate the idea for Surat city. Integration within communities in urban areas is enabled through a platform offered by the spatial setting, infrastructure and an urban vibe of a city. A comprehensive development plan for Surat considering all such aspects was prepared in a group of 4 students. Vision, approach, DP framework, zoning, draft DP, final proposed DP and DP report were various components of the project.
