Sustainable Approaches to Achieve Natural Water Balance

The objective of the Area Planning Lab was to develop the comprehensive ward plan for Paldi ward in Ahmedabad. Several tools to like transect walk, household surveys, secondary data etc were used during the studio exercise. This project mainly focuses on the issues related to water and giving solutions to it with a holistic and broad approach of seeing it in a hydrological cycle rather than looking at water supply, sewage and storm water drainage as separate measures.
